1. The 2000~ as approved by the Commission on 0~ 30~99 includes this
section under Priority 2 status for NHS Mobility, Category 3A.
The Dallas District is proposing to build the frontage roads in their ulti-
mate position for a future freeway. The project is split into the following
three segments (if need be for ranking or due to right-of-way delays):

This project let on 01-09-96 and Brown & Root, Inc. was the low bidder
with a bid of $45,502,101.11. The Commission awarded the contract at
their 01-25-96 meeting and construction began on 04-29-96.

III. SH 121 FREEWAY IMPROVEMENTS (STAGE H)
A. Section 13: Tarrant County Line to North of Denton Creek (conversion to

2. Candidate for Category 3A -- National Highway System Mobility.

TxDOT's Fort Worth District is including this section of the SH 121
Freeway in an ongoing M[.S, Schematic, and EA consultant contract they
have in the area. The Fort Worth District is working closely with the City
of Grapevine to develop the transportation needs in the area. The
following are estimated milestone dates:

The selections for NHS Mobility, Category 3A, in the 2000 UTP, as
approved by the Commission on 09-30~99, include CSJ 0364-03-066, CSJ
0364-03-067, and CSJ 0364-04-023 under Priority 2 status. CSJ 0364-04-
024 still has LRP status.
