RE: S.H. 121 / Northwest Dallas County
Dear Mr. Tucker:
The City of Coppell was recently provided with revised schematics from the City of Grapevine
showing proposed changes to S.H. 121 from Bethel Road to Freeport Parkway. The most recent
changes were a result of meetings between the City of Coppell and the City of Grapevine concerning
this section of S.H. 121. The City of Coppell had requested changes to previous plans that would
allow vehicles leaving Sandy Lake Road to enter onto S.H. 121 headed in a southerly direction. The
City of Grapevine's consultant has accommodated our requests by providing braided ramps between
Sandy Lake Road/Grapevine Mills Blvd. and Grapevine Mills Parkway/F.M. 2499. With those
modifications, the City of Coppell is in support of the concept plan for S.H. 121 as previously
submitted to your office. This plan provides greater access to and from the City of Coppell and to
land to be developed along this corridor.
