Joe Atwood: TxDOT-DAL doesn't have immediate plans for MIS in Irving at this time. They plan to
pursue MIS 114 l½ years from now.
Mike Morgan/DART: Dart needs assessment of area Northwest service tollway to 183 or I30 looked at.
How far up 1147 We haven't determined. Dart will do MIS on this area first of year. In process of
interviewing community leaders.
John Mack: Has process of hiring consultant began? Yes. Regarding Problem Statement, call it "Purpose
and Needs." Include Environmental documentation, add accident figures.
There is need for a focus group or community advisory committee (take study to community to look over
data and get feedback from them).
Bob Price: Focus on corridor piece by piece at next meeting; tab maps, appraisal District.
John Mack: Will there be a lot of Right of Way to be purchased?
Joe Atwood: Not sure at this point.
Joe Atwood: Need workshop on Alternatives for the next Public meeting
Bob Price: Need discussion on ROW.
Bob Price: South Grapevine-not templine exit. Does not have distances without braided ramps.
Who's responsibility is focus group.
Gustavo Baez: MIS group coordination-all involved.
John Mack: Will have to have consultants to see how much ROW. Can talk about alternatives, then give
that to consultants.
Bob Price: Of 114, how much ROW for section?
