I drove by the job site and the hole was dug to tie the gas main for St.
Andrews to the existing gas main on Deforest. I called Randy Smith with
Atmos Energy and Randy said he has been unsuccessful in getting the gas
contractor, Housley Communications, to complete the tie in. The
developer is paying Housley to install the new gas main and Randy said
until the new main is connected to the~sting main, Atmos will not
take over ownership of the new pipe.~;~y help the City of Coppell can
provide Randy in getting Housley and Holmes Builders to schedule
connection of the new main to the existing main would be greatly

Jeff, a permit was pulled last November for gas & electric service
installation to the St Andrews Estates on Deforest Rd in Coppell. The
resident at 748 Deforest (just east of the subdivision entrance) called
to report that at large hole was dug near his driveway and has been left
unfilled for months. He would like for it to be filled in as it is a
danger and an eyesore. Can you get this taken care of? Please reply as
soon as possible. Thanks!
