Subject: Verizon work in Coppell
Rick - I have no idea if there is a central point of contact for all of the Verizon sub-contractors, but if there is, then
please let me know who since they need to be aware of the following:
The trucks and vans are NOT being parked in the alleyways that allow folks to get out of their driveways. Wednesday
afternoon, I was blocked along with my neighbors and had to wait for someone to move the truck - it would have taken
no more than a minute to park the truck in a way that allows people to get in and out of their homes.
Today, the phonelines have been cut to my house - no dialtone, no DSL connect, nothing. I opened a repair ticket - and
checked to make sure that the outside wall jack was dead and unplugged/replugged the phones - and have a repair of
not later than 5PM on Monday, 9./2. That is a major problem for me or anyone if this is constant - that leaves anyone in
my neighborhood who is affected without capability to call 911 from their house for up to 3 days. While they may have
cell phones, we have the issue of cell numbers not matching the response area.
