Wednesday afternoon, I was blocked along with my neighbors and had to wait for someone to move the truck - it would have taken no more than a minute to park the truck in a way that allows people to get in and out of their homes. Today, the phonelines have been cut to my house - no dialtone, no DSL connect, nothing. I opened a repair ticket - and checked to make sure that the outside wall jack was dead and unplugged/replugged the phones - and have a repair of not later than 5PM on Monday, 9./2. That is a major problem for me or anyone if this is constant - that leaves anyone in my neighborhood who is affected without capability to call 911 from their house for up to 3 days. While they may have cell phones, we have the issue of cell numbers not matching the response area. Kerrin N.
