Dear Mr. Calzacorta:
The City of Coppell has performed a courtesy review of the referenced plans. Although the
Building Inspections Department has permitted these plans, they are not approved for work
within the Public Drainage Easement.
Please be advised that under your existing permit you may proceed with the construction of the
wall in areas outside the drainage easement. Additionally, a 2-year maintenance bond will be
required for all public work.
The City requests a meeting at this office, which includes the Civil Engineer and the Structural
Engineer, to address the issues of scouring at the base of the proposed wall.
