LEGAL NOTICE
Brazos Electric Power
Cooperative, Inc., P.O. Box 2585,
Waco, Texas 76702-2585, announces
that it is making application to
amend its Certificate of
Convenience and Necessity within
Dallas and Denton Counties.
The proposed project consists
of the construction of
approximately 6 miles (9.66 km) of
138 KV Steel Single Pole
transmission line. The Steel Single
Pole line will require a 70 foot
right-of -way and will begin at
BEPCI's existing Coppell
Substation.
The proposed route heads North
paralleling Coppell Road for
approximately 600 feet,turns to a
Northwest heading and proceeds
along and parallel to the Lone Star
Gas pipeline right-of-way for
approximately 4.6 miles turns West
and proceeds approximately 2,000
feet, then turns North and proceeds
for approximately one mile
terminating at a new substation to
be built on approximately three
acres of land.
The new substation will have a
full tension steel tower,
associated surge arrestors and
disconnect switches. There will be
four 3 phase bays and one spare
bay.
The estimated cost of the
project will be approximately
$10,307,350.00.
