Utility Relocation Status
Dear Mr. Crawford:
This letter is a follow-up to the city's August 23, 2005 utility meeting regarding upcoming
construction projects. The W. Sandy Lake Road project is scheduled to advertise in November
2005 with an anticipated construction start in January 2006. The right-of-way acquisition is
complete and all conflicting utilities need to be relocated and/or adjusted prior to the construction
start date. Utility companies are required to submi[ a Right-of-Way Use Permit along with three
copies of the relocation plans to the Engineering Department for approval prior to starting the
relocations.
It is our understanding that AT&T Local Network Services has facilities within the project limits
that will need to be relocated. These facilities will be relocated in conjunction with the
AboveNet facilities. We have not received any relocation plans or any updates since the utility
meeting and would appreciate an update on the submittal of relocation plans and the estimated
start and completion dates of the relocations.

This letter is a follow-up to the city's August 23, 2005 utility meeting regarding upcoming
construction projects. The W. Sandy Lake Road project is scheduled to advertise in November
2005 with an anticipated construction start in January 2006. All conflicting utilities need to be
relocated and/or adjusted prior to the construction start date. Verizon submitted the Right-of-
Way Use Permit and relocation plans in June 2004, and it is our understanding that some of the
relocation work has been completed. We have not received a Completion Verification Notice
and would appreciate an update on the status of the relocations.
