The proposed sign is 32 square feet in size. The sign ordinance does allow real estate signs to be erected on residential property that are larger than six square feet. (Section 10-8-2.A) The sign ordinance does allow real estate signs to be erected on property that is zoned other than SF, TH or 2F. Signs of this type would be limited to a maximum of 36 square feet, and would have to be removed when the property is 75% rented or leased. The setback required would be 15 feet.
