Soil Compaction Tests:
The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe the placement and compaction of soils
for building pad re-work and paving subgrade. Please refer to the attached compaction report.
Utilizing the Nuclear Method (ASTM D-2922) to verify the compaction of soils; test results
indicated that the compacted material, at the areas and depths tested~ met or exceeded the
projcct requirements of 95% for paving and 92% for building pad rework of the maximum dry
density as obtained in our laboratory using the Standard Proctor Method (ASTM D-698).
The soils observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with pro. ject drawings and
specitications with regard to ]itt thickness and moisture content.
