Final Acceptance Pending
Dear Ms. Halprin:
The City of Coppell Engineering Department inspected the improvements in the above referenced
project during construction. The issuance of a Final Acceptance letter that starts the two-year
maintenance bond period is still pending on the project. The letter will be issued when the
following two requirements are met:
1. A sealed set of record drawings from the Engineer of Record, Keith Hamilton, including all as-
built conditions provided from mark-ups.
2. Two-year maintenance bond(s) covering the installation of utilities (water and sewer) and
paving in the public right-of-way. The bond(s) should be in the amount of 50% of the contract
amount for the duration of two years, inception from the date of the Final Acceptance letter.
Please make arrangements to provide these required items to the Engineering Dept. so that the
project can be successfully concluded. Thank you for your cooperation during this construction,
and if I can be of further service, please contact me.
