Dear Mr. Griffin:
We have received preliminary information that the standby metering vault serving Coppell at Sandy
Lake Road and Denton Tap Road will be relocated to a new location outside of proposed paving.
It appears that the relocation design shows replacement of the standby metering vault with the same
size facilities. Please provide your comments on the following:
o Verify that the City of Coppell wants to retain a standby facility.
· Verify that the current 4" size is adequate or if the metering facility should be upgraded to a
larger size.
° Any operational or technical concerns that must be considered.
~ Attached for your review is a COpy of a location map and a copy of a portion'of the relocation design
plan sheet. This is the only information available to us at this time. A schedule of work is not yet
available but will be forwarded to you as soon as it is available.
Your prompt review and comments are needed as quickly as possible. Please call me or Tonla at
214/670-5886 if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Manager
