Sandy Lake Road Reconstruction

Dear Mr. Griffin:
It is our understanding that the Homeowner's Association for the subdivision near Trailwood
Lane has stated that they do not intend to relocate their irrigation system devices that are located
in the median on Trailwood Lane and in the proposed sidewalk locations on either side of Sandy
Lake and Trailwood. The devices in question are in conflict with the proposed improvements
and will need to be relocated prior to completion of the paving and sidewalk work at those
locations. The location of the devices will not allow EBCC to cap the lines at the ROW without
rendering their complete system inoperative.
An additional issue at this location is that of the existing median on Trailwood Lane and the final
disposition of that median. The plans indicate that the proposed paving on Trailwood is without
a median island; however, the existing median on the remaining portion of Trailwood will have
to end abruptly at the Sandy Lake ROW line, be extended into the new portion of the paving, or
be modified beyond the Sandy Lake ROW line.
Please advise our office regarding both of these issues. If you have any questions regarding these
issues, don't hesitate to contact our office.
Sincerely,
