RE: Coppell Health Care Center
Coppell, Texas
Dear Mr. Bejcek:
Enclosed is a copy of the data concerning the proposed lake on your site
in Coppell, Texas. The data indicates that the drainage area provides
runoff to sustain the normal pool level of the lake. However, since there
are so many variables involved, it is to be expected that some variations
in the water level can be noticed during the months of low rainfall and
high temperature (evaporation).
This data is generally what is available to estimate such situations as
yours. If you need additional data please call us.
Very truly yours,
' Dan'M'. Dowdey, ~.~E.

l~g: ?~ke Calculations Summary
Coppell Health Care Center
The basis for the lake inflow-outflow calculations is as follows:
The average monthly pan ~vaporation values were obtained
from the Ft. Worth District Corps of Engineers. These
values represent only the average pan evaporation for
35 years of recordings. For example: July mean = 12.12
in. with a range from 9.10 in. to 17.10 in.
The average monthly precipitation values were obtained
from the U.S. Weather Service. These values represent
only the average precipitation for 30 years of recordings.
~dditional losses from transpiration and lake seepage are
not included in the calculations.
The City of Coppell's commercial water rate~ are as follows:
$ 5.60 for first 1000 gallons (134 cubic feet) usage
$ 2.30 for each additional 1000 gallons (134 cubic feet)
usage
The ~ was calculated on both the fully
developed and undeveloped watershed.~The positive resultant
is a direct result of the parameters ~ the watershed including
size, soil type, vegetation, average te~ain slope, etc.
