I'm sorry but I do not understand at all your handwritten comments
you made on my memo to you dated February 1, 1989.
You have indicated that I flatly refused the idea to have projects
]eft on the DRC agenda. I'm sorry but that is not my understanding.
My concern, as I've stated before, is simply as a manager the idea
of having DRC representatives consuming a large amount of time involved
in this process (meetings) and leaving little time to address other
responsibilities as division supervisors greatly concerns me. That
same concern was expressed by those division representatives.
I have and will continue to support you in what you are trying to
accomplish for our organization. But, please understand that my concern
is the overall organization and how we as a team provide critical
services to our community.
The schedule provided to all DRC representatives for the calender
year 1989 does not reflect the meetings for February 10th or 15th.
This is a good example of how things change because of circumstances
which is another reason why notification and preparing an agenda would
be most helpful to those representing the departments making up the
DRC process.
If you would like to discuss this matter, please advise.
