The analysis is based on a surface area of 1.3 acres for the lake
with a 15' wide grass slope area around its banks. The landscaped
area would consist of deciduous trees, bermuda grass and an automatic
irrigation system.
More landscaping in the median areas of the boulevard is planned and
included in this cost breakdown. The bed located in the circle will
contain asian jismine, burford holly and crapemrytles. The remainder
of the median is planted with bermudagrass, crapemrytle and deciduous
trees. Ail of these areas are irrigated through an automatic system.
A breakdown of the maintenance follows this text with the exception
of providing a means to fill and maintain the lake water level.
The method used to maintain the level is contingent upon the proposed
use of the water as a fishery and/or habitat for waterfowl. Treated
water is not suitable for this purpose as it contains chlorine for
algae development unless treated constantly with chlorine. The water
after treatment does not contain those "food chain" items essential
to fish habitat.
