Staff has contacted Mike Sharp concerning a more definitive date
for the overlays. Mike said that if the County crews do the work
we are looking at around 60 days before they could start. If we
want them to send in their contractor then the contractor could get
started in a couple of weeks. The difference is that if the
contractor does the overlays there will not be any savings from the
escrowed funds but if the County does the overlays there could be
substantial savings which could in turn be applied towards other
projects.
Please advise which direction you would like to go.
