City/County Agreement for Asphalt Overlays
As per the City/County Agreement which was approved by City Council
and signed by the Mayor, the amount of $92,101.60 needs to be
escrowed with Dallas County by the County Commissioner' s Court
agenda deadline date of October 31, 1989 :in order to h~vc all
points of the Commissioner's Court order complete.
Please have a check cut for the escrow amount sc) that ~:t;~[f can
hand deliver it by the deadline date,

W%IEREAS, the City of Coppell., Texas, hereinafter called "City" and
the County of Dallas, Texas hereinafter called "County" want 'to
enter into an agreement for resurfacinq and striping of streets as
listed on the attached Exhibits "A", "B", "C", and "D" includin~
level up and shoulder work for a total estimated cost
$160,909.93.
WHEREAS Exhibits A B & C are designated type B roads and Exhibit
D is type E roads.
WHEREAS the City of Coppell agrees to escrow $9~,101.60 for 50% of
the cost of work on the Type "B" roads and 100% of the cost of work
on the Type "E" roads as listed on Exhibits A ]% C & D.
WHEREAS Dallas County will furnish ali. labor equipment and
materials and will fund 50% of type B work estimated at a cost of
$68,808.33.

Now, THEREFORE, THIS MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT is hereby made an

project except for any liability or damages caused by negligence
of the County, its agents, officers and/or employees.
