Drilled Pier Observation:
The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe the drilled pier operation.
The drilled pier excavations observed on this date appeared to be in accordance with project
drawings and specifications with regard to plumbness, diameter, required depth and required
penetration. The piers were cased due to the infiltration of water.
The reinforcing steel for the drilled shales was verified on this date, and appeared to be placed
in accordance with project drawing and specifications.
Concrete observed on this date appeared to be in compliance with project specifications with
regard to slump, temperature, batch to placement time, and placement method.
I set of 4 cylinders was cast for compressive strength testing in our laboratory.

construction operations at A3, A/5, B/3 and J/7.
Please see the attached drilled shaft records for details.
The drilled shaft excavations observed on this date appeared to be in accordance with project
drawings and specifications with regard to plumbness, location (by others), diameter, required
depth and required strata penetration.
The shafts were cased due to water infiltration. The reinforcing steel for the drilled shafts was
observed on this date, and appeared to be placed in accordance with the project drawing and
specifications with respect to size, number, length, and circular ties.
Concrete observed on this date appeared to be in compliance with project specifications with
regard to slump, temperature, batch to placement time, and placement method.
