Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. Neal:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. The proposed concrete paving does not meet the City's lime stabilization requirement. In lieu
of lime stabilization, the paving thickness may be increased from 5 inches to 6 inches or the
concrete strength may be increased from 3000 psi to 4000 psi.
2. Provide a grading plan for any slope proposed to be greater than 3:1.
3. Will valves be relocated due to the placement of the island around the existing fire hydrant?
Provide details of the valve relocations.
Please make the necessary changes and submit these marked-up plans and two sets of revised
plans to the City for review. If you have any questions, please contact this office at your
convenience.
