Repairs and Adjustments
Dear Mr. Balch:
As discussed in our weekly progress meetings of May 23 and May
30, 1989, we have received and are in the process of reviewing
your May 5, 1989 letter requesting a Field Change to cover extra
~ork associated with repair and adjustment of irrigation systems
adjacent to the new pavement. It is our intention to cover this
item upon completion under Field Change No. 1_~6. As previously
explained, we view simpl~ remova o spr er heads and capping
of irrigation lines as adjustment of adjacent utilities and
therefore not eligible for payment as extra work. Replacement of
irrigation systems and components beyond the existing Right-of-
Way will be reimbursed under Field Change No. 16 provided the
work is authorized in advance by our Resident Project
Representative, Mr. Fleming.
