Dear Mr. Ratliff:
Please call
Our Customer Services Department has completed its design to
provide street light service to your Denton Tap Road Widening
project. It is proposed to install double fixture Gg Decashield
street lights on 66-Union Metal poles with TU Electric provided
foundations- The street lights will incorporate a customer
provided and installed conduit system.
TU Electric will install the street lights and the foundations
for $88,440.00. This represents the difference in cost between
the underground facilities you requested and our standard
overhead facilities.
Please indicate your preferred method of payment for this
installation. Security can be provided by offering either Cash
in Advance, Escrow, Bond, or a Letter of Credit.
Tim Brancheau at 323-8910 if you have any questions
about this project.
Sincerely,
Thomas G. Parsons

The estimated construction costs have been revised to
include the only TOTAL BASE BID (6 LANE) for each project.
Initially this item also included the. Contractor proposed
$ 40,000.00 reduction in estimated Contract Price; the
alternate bid item for a retaining wall (which is no longer
needed); and the additional cost of the Contractor's
proposed Alternate Trench Safety System. After further
consideration, these costs have been deleted from
Construction and added to the Contingencies.
