'Dist. #3, the City of Coppell has requested the commissioner of D~strzct No~ 1 ~o resurface various streets, as outlined on Exhibits "A" and "B" to the~attached Agreement, for a total estimated cost of $157,200.00; and ' the City of Coppell has escrowed $87,000.00 (Escrow Fund 120-917-913-7) for 50% of the cost of work on the Type "B" roads and 100% of the cost of the Type "E" road, as listed on the attached Agreement; and Dallas County will furnish all labor, equipment and materialS'and fund 50% of the cost of the Type'"B" work estimated at $70,200.00;. and District No. 2 will furnish all labor and equipment and District No. 1 will furnish all materials; and WHEREAS the City of Coppell has executed the attached City/County Agreement authorizing said work in accordance with Article 4413 (32c) ofthe Interlocal Cooperation Act of YACS; and WFIEREAS said roads being Type "B" and "E" according to the Dallas County Road and Bridge Policy as adopted in Court Order No. 84-659, and Order Nos. 87-2137 and 88-1297, establishing and updating the County Road List. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED by the Dallas Coun6y Commissioners' Court that the Commissioners of District No. 1 and District No. 2 are hereby authorized to cooperate with the City of Coppell for the aforementioned work, and the County Judge is hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached City/County Agreement. .. O. Box 478 Coppell, Texas 75019 Before the City/County Agreement for the resurfacing of streets listed on Exhibits "A" & "B" can be approved, the City of Coppell will need to place $87~00.00 in an escrow account with Dallas County. This money will allow the County to perform H.M.A.C. level up and a 2" overlay on the roads listed on Exhibits 'A, & "B". The County can participate in 50% of the estimated cost for Type "B" roads with the City payir~g 100% of the estimated cost for Type "E" roads. The City will provide traffic control as needed for this project. It is agreed that work will not start by the County until the City/County Agreement has been fully executed by the City and County. It is my under- standing that the money has been approved and the City's Finance Director will be placing said funds in an escrow account with Dallas County as indicated by the Finance Director's signature below.
