Deforest Road Flood Damage
DeForest Road has been part of the flood damage list since word
first came out from Richard Terry.
As an interim measure only, we could blade down hot mix asphalt
over the primary areas affected, but I do not believe we have
adequate funds to cover the quantity required. To actually fix the
road, the road bed (foundation) will need to be reworked because
the alignment has been destroyed by the saturation of materials.
This phenomenon is the same that required East Beltline to reclose
after remedial work.
