1.. Belt Line Road (South)
Construction began March 2, 1987.
Contract completion date August 22, 1988.
As of April 30, 1988: 63% work completed versus 78%
contract time.

Contractor currently completely storm sewer. Phase III
paving of two northbound lanes (Sanders Loop northward)
completed. Cowboy Drive intersection paving completed.
Cowboy Drive intersection shall be re-opened to traffic May

Construction began September 1, 1987.
Contract completion date June 26, 1988.

Belt Line to Sandy Lake segment - estimated construction

Sandy Lake to Denton Creek segment - estimated construction
start June, 1988; complete June, 1989 (Contract amount
$1,803,363.03).
Total project cost including traffic signals, street lights~
landscaping, and RxR crossing etc. is approximately
$7,200,000.00.
Agreements still pending with Conoco, Explorer, and St.
Louis Southwestern Railroad.
Belt Line Road {E/W)
L~--dasign of paving and drainage improvements for segment -
~.~acArthur to West overflow swale is 40% complete.
Dallas County would like to bid this portion of Belt Line
Road with Carrollton's portion.
Due to R.O.W. problems R x R, the county is currently re-
designing the Carrollton portion of the project.
Anticipated completion date for the re-design and subsequent
bidding and construction is unknown at this time.
Belt Line (E-W) relocation west of MacArthur Awaiting
final execution of City/Developer agreement.

5. 24" Cross-town Water Line
Design 82% complete.
Anticipate completion of design end of June, 1988.
Design in progress for segment along MacArthur and Sandy
Lake to new pump station site.
Still awaiting City of Dallas design and route approval.
Estimated construction cost $1,500,000.00.

Design 85% complete.
Anticipate bidding in late May 1988.

Provided cost estimate at February 9, 1988 Council meeting
for temporary signals (ie., poles and span wires vs.
permanent mast arms).
Currently awaiting City's authorization to proceed with
design, bid and construction.
Sandy Lake Rd./Moore Rd. Intersection
No change in status.
Improvements needed to install loop detectors and protected
left-turn at this intersection per City's request.
Prepared cost estimate and presented at February 9, 1988
Council meeting.
Plan is to include in bid package with Sandy Lake/MacArthur
signa].s. Will proceed with design, bid and construction
upon City's authorization of project.
Elevated Water Storage Tank
No further action requested of Ginn, Inc. at this time.
