I have noted a large amount of fill being brought into the Creekview
Subdivision. I have already been reassured that fill in drainage
areas will not be permitted because they are storage for flood
waters. My concern with the fill lies with the frequency and
weight of the trucks bringing in this fill, because they are having
to mount the curb with every load.
If you would, please attach a note to each house being constructed
which required quantities of fill to be brought in. This note
should read "Curb Inspection- by Street Department Before CO
Issuance". When the house is nearing completion, please call
me and either myself or Brent Adams will make that inspection
(NO $). I would encourage yourself and the other Inspectors to
be watchfull for curb damage, so that it can be repaired possibly
before the Street Department's inspection.
