Letter to FEMA / Creekview Addition

I have reviewed the above referenced letter in addition to
Coppell's Floodplain Management Ordinance (F.M.O.) #87390. I would
like to offer the following steps as our possible course of actions
Conduct a site investigation to identify any possible illegal
activities in floodplain, which would be a violation to the
provisions of our F.M.O..
Upon such verification, the property owner (developer) and/or
his engineer will be notified of such activities and violation
and he/she will be issued a letter of citation as per the
Article 3, Sec. D of Coppell F.M.O. #87390.
A response letter will be sent to FEMA and the concerned
citizen to keep them informed of our enforcement program.
A continued follow-up is needed to bring such floodplain
activity in compliance with our F.M.O., along with proper
documentation. If the City receives another Community
Assistant Visit (CAV) from FEMA, the records would reflect
the City's enforcement of local floodplain management program.
We can proceed with the above listed steps upon your direction and
start with the conduction of the site investigation by April 20,
1990, unless you direct otherwise.
