Retaining Wall - 154 East Bethal Road
As I indicated to you in our last discussion, we were having difficulty in reaching the
homeowner at 154 East Bethal Road because that homeowner traveled a great deal.
We have been able to meet with the homeowner, and originally the homeowner was
extremely upset because of this request. He stated that you had met him personally at the
site and stated that the encroachment would not affect the City's easement because
adequate room was available in the easement on the other property located at 150 East
Bethal Road. In effect this homeowner feels that he has been harassed by the City because
he was told that is was ok and now he is being asked to sign a waiver.
We were able to resolve the situation with the homeowner, calm him down, and obtain the
attached Hold Harmless Agreement.
