Dear Mr. Karlsruher:
This letter is in response to SECTION ~I?~D - CONYRACT CLOSEOUT,
Section 1.4 CONTRACTOR'S CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS TO ENGINEER:,
paragraph A., part 3; L. H. Lacy Company guarantees workmanship
only on all work for a period of one year from date of project
acceptance.
In addition, L. H. Lacy Company guarantees workmanship only for
an additional four.years on a specific area of the south bound
lanes. The limits of the extended guarantee are from Station
176+00 to Station 190+~]0. This guarantee is limited to defects
that occur as a result of the sawed joints in the pavement.
