By my records, I show a memo was generated by me on 2/15/90 (no
copy). Using virgin materials for the base, the County estimates
that with 100' cue space in the turn lanes and the 250' reverse
curve standard it would cost $17,827.20 for the total project. The
County could provide. 50% of the cost ($8915.60), which could be
reduced dramatically by utilizing "black base" which consists of
recycled asphalt with the addition of "Gator Gold", an asphalt
rejuvenate. This would bring the County/City 50% cost down to
$5,865.00, since the County would be matching our funds, I would
recoa~end the utilization of any balance left from the recent
overlays to accomplish this if sufficient funds remain.
