RE: Construction Near Denton Creek
Dear Mr. Doyle:
As you are aware, there has been construction on or near our
property (see attached diagram) which appears to be in the
floodway or floodplain. We believe that the person who is
responsible for the construction has not obtained the proper
permits, and that Creekside could be endangered should a flood
actually occur.
Apart from the trespassing issue that we intend to pursue civil-
ly, we would appreciate knowing what action your department is
legally able to take on flood plain construction and what, if
anything, we can do to assist.
