Re: Denton Tap Road Improvements from Sandy Lake Road
to Denton Creek
Dear Mr. Goram:
with the opening of the three (3) northbound lanes on Denton Tap
Road immediately north of the Belt Line/Denton Tap intersection,
it is no longer necessary to require the right (outside) lane of
northbound Belt Line Road to turn right at the intersection with
Denton Tap Road and Belt Line Road East-West. If you will
authorize the Street Department to remove the signage indicating'
"Right Turn Only" and "Right Turn Must Turn Right" and install it
in a similar fashion on the northbound side of Denton Tap Road
just south of Parkway Blvd., the city of Coppell may realize a
savings of approximately $500.00 in the purchase of new signage
required at the latter location.
Please give this your consideration and let us know of your
decision so that we may take the appropriate action regarding
signage for Denton Tap Road.
Sincerely,
John C. Karlsruher, P.E.
