MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 20, 1996

Property_ Issues:
Skiles - Documents are with the Property owner for her signature. Could close by December
10th.
Tabor - Discussion between Nursery and City on location of ROW line and Property line
between the two properties. Carrollton needs documents from Nursery's Engineer (Don Tipton).
This parcel may end-up going to a Right-of-Entry while Carrollton works out details.
Harrington Tract - Questions on Coppell's status. County to provide Carrollton with an update
on the schedule for this property.
Carrollton to fax the County a copy of the City of Dallas's letter for permission to work on
Dallas property.
Park Issues:
RAP in subgrade of Park Road-The County believes that the RAP will perform. Carrollton
agrees to allow the RAP to be used. The County needs to define the limits for the RAP stops.
Mitigation area - This will have to be on Carrollton's property, and the City will probably need
a metes and bounds description for the area from Schrikle-Rollins.
Schrikle-Rollins schedule - Tim to get with SanfOrd Lahue for schedule of plan completion
Division of Park Work - County forces will build (1) all of temporary (future permanent) park
entrance to the tie-in point with the loop road and (2) excavate all of swale. All other park work
to be constructed by the contractor
Inspection of Park Work - Only paving to be inspected by County.
Construction Contract - Sign installation, irrigation, tree planting will not be in the joint
contract.
Consistency is needed between roadway pavement design and cross-section and park entrance
design and cross section. This will help with construction and bidding.
MEETING MINUTES (CONT'D)
County to develop an ILA for shortfall and amenity/betterment issues on the project. Send a
draft ILA to Carrollton with the specific items left blank.
Sandy Lake Road (Project East of Bridge):
Geoteehnical - Not needed per Tim Tumulty.
Tim Tumulty to get with Nathan Maier for new Q100 and backwater study at mid-project
ouffall.
