Texas 75248 ATTN: Mr. John C. Karlsruher, Project Engineer Re: Denton Tap Road Improvements from Sandy Lake Road to Denton Creek, Coppell, Texas Dear Mr. Karlsruher: DWU has reviewed the proposal by L.H. Lacy Co. for alleviating the conflict between the existing 30" R.C. water main and the proposed paving and drainage for the referenced project. Using the data furnished we have detemined that approximately 140' of the existing 30" water main would have less than 2' of clearance between the bottom of the proposed paving and the top of pipe. Based on this detemination DWU will continue with the process of lowering the 30" water main to alleviate conflicts. As for the clearance of 2' between the existing 30" water main and bottom of paving at paving station 185+00, we reiterate that the contractor please work with caution to avoid damage to this water main. If you have any questions, please contact Jimmy Rogers or Rick Zohne at 948-4590. Si rice rely, T.W.
