BOX 541297 Dallas, TX 75354-1297 Re: Denton Tap Road Improvements from Sandy Lake Road to Denton Creek Dear Mr. Balch: During a visit to the project site on June 8, 1989, I observed displacement of the concrete rip rap on both the north and south banks of Cottonwood Branch beneath the east side of the bridge structure. This rip rap may not be acceptable to the City of Coppell in its current state. Please propose the remedial action you deem appropriate to this situation. I also noticed an excessive quantity of waste concrete, reinforcing steel and construction related debris beneath this bridge structure. This material poses a threat to the lives, health and property of those people who live adjacent to Cottonwood Branch and those who use the adjacent community park due to aggravation of the current flooding in the area. You are hereby directed to have this debris removed as soon as possible. Please call me if you have any questions. Sincerely, John C. Karlsruher, P.E.
