Re: Enclaves on the Parkway
Dear Mr. Blom:
I received your letter dated December 14, 1995 in response to our telephone conversation of the
same day. As you stated in our telephone conversation, the City's requirement for a 3:1 slope
has been known for some time now. However, because of the need to closeout the lots and
begin full scale development, the City of Coppell is agreeable to work with you on 3:1 slopes
under the following conditions:
1) I am agreeable to the February 15, 1996 deadline to have the verified slopes in place, with
a survey at 50 foot intervals provided to the City. I want to make it very clear that weather will
not be a consideration in extending this deadline. Therefore, I would recommend that the work
be completed as soon as possible. 2) You are responsible for establishing the grass on that slope
prior to the final acceptance of the sloped area by the City. 3) Some type of grass and or
siltation control measures should be installed as soon as possible to keep the silt from the
channel and lake system in the City parks. 4) The large objects i.e, rocks, etc. should be
removed and the area hand raked prior to final acceptance.
It should be understood that if this work is not accomplished by February 15, 1996, then I will
have no option but to inform the Building Inspection Depa~huent to refuse any additional request
for permits, any requests for inspection on homes currently under construction and any CO's for
homes that are constructed. I am hopeful that we will not reach that point and need to have
those discussions. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Ke~e~ri~, ;.E.
