MEMORANDUM

RE: Denton Tap Road Improvements
The project referenced has resulted in several concerns being raised which affect Andrew
Brown Park.
The first and greatest concern is the loss of water service to the parks irrigation and
drinking water systems. It has been two weeks since a subcontractor installing signal
poles on the project struck the waterline which services the park with apparent resolution
coming prior to this weekend accordng to Oinn Project Manager, John Karlsruher. It
is my understanding a loop service system exists in this area so water service is not
lnterupted. If this is not the case, what can be done to accomplish this. Once a concession
stand is built, this could become a health issue if it happens when personnel are not
available to address it when it occurs.
The slopes of the road facing the park have not been seeded or properly graded to receive
that. Again the Contractor has been advised to address this, but nothing has occured.
ls there any leverage or direction the City can provide in this area other than through
Oinn Inc.. No timetable exists for this to occur by according to John.
This is provided to document the concerns and ascertain your advise on these issues.
