Meter Sets Estates Phase II
I have received information from on the above referenced
project are not installed according to City standards. The contractor installed threaded 90'
bends in line prior to the lower curb stops. I do not remember signing off on any change in
the meter set standard for that project.
From what I gather from field staff, the setters have been installed in this manner throughout
the entire project. Please provide an explanation as to how and why this change took place.
There are and will continue to be maintenance issues with this type of setting.
