Gentlemen:
The city of Coppell has considered the bid submitted by you for
the above referenced project in response to its invitation to bid
dated January 19, 1988. You are hereby notified that your bid
has been accepted for the construction of the base bid items and
the Alternate Decorative Bridge Rail in the total amount of
$1,803,363.03. Your proposed $40,000.00 deduction from the total
of the Contract Prices for both Denton Tap Road Improvements
projects will be prorated to allow a deduction of $14,000.00
(35%) on this project resulting in a Total Estimated Contract
Price of $1,789,363.03. (365 calendar day project)
Enclosed are six (6) copies of the Contract Documents. Please
complete and execute these documents and return them to our
office. You are required, under the terms of the Instructions to
Bidders, to execute the agreement and furnish the required bonds
and certificates of insurance within fifteen (15) calendar days
from the date of this notice to you.
Upon receipt of these documents, we will have the agreement
executed by the City of Coppell, have a preconstruction
conference, and issue a "notice to proceed" order. You are
required to return an acknowledged copy of this "Notice of Award"
to the owner. Please sign below and return two copies to us.
We are looking forward to working with your firm toward the
successful completion of this project.
