ST9301A-CS 960809August 9, 1996 Earl Farrow 617 North Charles Lewisville, TX 75057 RE: Tract 7 of the Weston Perry Abstract 1152 (Sandy Lalce Rd. Bridge Project #ST 93-01A) Dear Mr. Farrow: For some time now, Dallas County, worlcing through various consultants, has been designing the upgrade of the existing bridge on Sandy Lalce Road over the Elm Forlc of the Trinity River. It had been anticipated that construction would begin in late 1995. However, some design considerations associated with existing development and with the impact on McInnish Parle Ms delayed the construction of the bridge. The design plans have now been completed and in May~ 1996 the City of Coppell was presented with the right-of-way documents. Part of the City's contract with the County requires the City to acquire any necessary right-of-way and easements for the construction of the bridge. While your property is somewhat west of the bridge, the?e will be a transition area from the bridge back to the existing paving. Therefore, the City does need to acquire right-of-way from your property. The right-of-way would be approximately a 25' wide strip off of the front of the property and approximately a 10' slope easement adjacent to the right-of-way. With this letter I am providing copies of the right-of-way description, the slope easement description and an exhibit showing the right-of-way in the easement. In the cover letter from Dallas County to the City, the County stressed that they are attempting to proceed as quickly as possible to let the construction contract for the bridge. To expedite the discussion between yourself and the City, I am providing the documents and I am also requesting that you contact me at (214)304-3679 so that we can schedule a meeting at your convenience to discuss the scope of the project and the impact of the project on your property in greater detail. If we are unable to meet during the weekday, I am available for meetings any evening after worlc or on Saturday morning. Thanlc you for your consideration of this request and I loolc forward to hearing from you in the very near future so that we can schedule a convenient time to discuss this project.
