ST8201-CS 900102COPPBLL PUBLIC WORKS MBMORANDUM January 2, 1990 // Steve Goram, Director of Public Works From: Russell D~tty Engineer Re: Yellow Dashed Lines Used For Construction Detours in the Southbound Lanes of Denton Tap Road at the North Transition in and around the Denton Creek Crossing as Reported by the Fire Department On Wednesday, December 27, 1989, at approximately 9:15 a.m., you indicated that the Fire Department reported that the subject lines should be removed as those remaining detour stripes could confuse drivers and create a hazardous situation. I contacted Scott Balch of L.H. Lacy Company, and he saw to it that they were removed before the end of the day. When inspecting that day, it had gotten too dark to make a final judgement on the work done, even though it appeared that all the dashed lines were removed. I confirm that the next morning. RRD/ymh
