Dear Mr. Snyder:
We are enclosing six (6) copies of Change Order No. 2 to the
subject Contract. This Change Order No. 2 changes the scope of
work of the subject Contract as follows:
It nullifies Change Order No. 1 for the balance of subgrade
stabilization work beyond the 19,520 $.Y. of subgrade
treated with 219.6 Tons of Cement on the project to date;
and
It restores the Original Contract Pay Item No. 260 - Lime
Treatment, materials in place, at the Original Contract Unit
Price for the balance of work remaining for this item
estimated to be approximately 42,091 S.Y.; and
It restores the Original Contract Pay Item No. 264 - Lime
Slurry, Type A, 5%, 22.5 LBS/S.Y., at the Original Contract
Unit Price of $61.00/Ton, for the balance of work remaining
under this item estimated to be approximately 473.5 Tons.
Ail work included in the scope of work of this Change Order No. 2
shall be performed in accordance with the terms of the Original
Contract Drawings and Specifications.
This Change Order No. 2 shall also include the addition of 14
calendar days to the Contract as per your request dated January
14, 1989, and our response of January 31, 1989, copies of which
are attached to the Change Order. This Change Order No. 2
increases the Estimated Contract Price by approximately
$5,208.50.

If you are in agreement with the terms of this Change Order No.
2, please execute all six copies and return them to this office.
We must require your response to this proposed Change Order No. 2
by Friday, April 14, 1989. Due to the fact that this Change
Order No. 2 is an increase in the Estimated Contract Price the
City Manager may desire to have it placed on the agenda for the
April 25, 1989 City Council meeting for their consideration.
Once approved by the City, we will return two copies with
original signatures to you.
