As requested, TXU Electric and Gas has designed the street light layout for the City of
Coppell's Sandy Lake Road street project. The street light design includes the installation of
street lights from the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Sandy Lake Road west to the
intersection of Denton Tap Road and Sandy Lake Road.
The installation as designed and costs associated with each aspect of the installation are as
follows:
1. 66 - 30' square steel painted standards with 2-250 watt High Pressure Sodium
rectangular luminaries (66 at $1550.00 00 each) $102,300.00
66 concrete foundations for standards (66 at $250.00) $16,500.00
3. Conduit and wire (10,300 feet at $4.00/foot) $41,200.00
Total $160,000.00
The City of Coppell may elect to install the concrete foundations and the conduit as designed,
in which case the cost of installation of the standards would be $102,300.00
This price is good for 90 days from today's date. If not accepted in writing within 90 days, a
new cost estimate may be required using prevailing material and labor costs. Material will not
be ordered and construction will not begin until written acceptance and the agreed upon amount
are received by TXU Electric & Gas.
