I do not fully understand your letter, but I can address a couple of items which appear to be pertinent. The driveways for McDonalds were not shown on the Contract Drawings simply because McDonalds did not exist at the time that the Plans were completed. As to paving of the driveways, they are customarily paved in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications as if they were actually shown on the Drawings. Payment, of course, is to be in accordance with the applicable Pay Items in the Contract, and the final quantities will reflect an overrun accordingly. In discussing your proposed paving sequence for this area, it would be helpful if you would provide a sketch of what you propose for our consideration. When proposing your sequence we will require a Traffic Control Plan reflecting your handling of the traffic with respect to the adjacent controlled intersection. We also expect you to coordinate the driveway construction with the affected property owner. Please provide our resident project representative, Mr. Randy Fleming, with a sketch and a Traffic Control Plan of what you propose and he will begin our review and comment process for this item. Please call me if you have any questions. sincerely, · John C. Karlsruher, Project Engineer enclosures CC: ~~.6inn, P.E. ~ DCa/la, P.E.
