Subject: Relocation of Facilities, Denton Tap Road NO:RNJ:drr
Dear Mr. Ratliff:
At the City of Coppell request, GTE Southwest is now fiualizin¢~
plans to relocate existing telephone facilities in preparation
for tile upcoming Denton Tap Road widening project. An estimated
$150,000 will be required to accomplish all of the necessary
relocations. Most of the affected telephone facilities are now
located within the City of Coppell street right of way, and will
therefore be relocated at the sole expense of GTE Southwest.
There is one area, however, where the existing facilities are
located within a private easement, outside of tile city right of
way. This area is on the west side of Denton Tap Road from Sandy
Lake Road south to Southwestern Blvd. GTE Southwest requests
full reimbursement from the City of Coppell for all required
telephone facility relocations which are done within th~ private
easement·
Bids have already been taken for the relocation
easement. Barring any unforeseen circumstances,
