Review of f~re line for First United Methodist
Steve, I have reviewed this site plan and see no problem with vault designs,
but I do have three items I am concerned about. Those items are as follows:
1) The tapping valve and valves shown in the vaults are noted as Mueller and
construction details specify waterous or approved equal.
2)
~lso on the Fire Dept. connection (F.D.C.) is this to be freeze protect and
who is to maintain. Also, it shows no valve for maintenance purposes of
this F.D.C..
3)
The last item may or may not be argumentative. They are utilizing the tapping
valve for control valve on back side of double check, which standards specify
to be in vault with double check.
