Additional Pay Request for SSMH Drop Inlet
Coppell Sandy Lake Road Reconstruction
KHA No. 061087.00
Coppell No. ST 93-02
Dear Mr. Weber:
I have reviewed your letter concerning a request for additional pay for the drop
inlet used on the sanitary sewer manhole located at station 17+54.48, 20' RT.
It is my understanding that this SSMH does not require a drop inlet, and that
the SSMH requiring the drop inlet is located at station 17+54.36, 50.76' LT.
This drop inlet is called out in the plans (sheet 2A) and is covered by Pay Item
//125 - Connect to Existing Sanitary Sewer Manhole. Additionally, the City
has approved the installation of an interior drop inlet as opposed to the exterior
piping required in accordance with City details. Please call if you have any
questions.
Very truly yours,
