16" Water Line Lowering at Moore Rd.
Dear Mr. Griffin:
As previously discussed, TU Pipeline Services is requiring that at least 12
inches of vertical separation be maintained between their 16" gas line and the
Coppell 16' water line at the intersection of Moore Road and Sandy Lake
Road. This can be accomplished by reducing the depth of cover of the 16'
water line to 2 feet 10 inches, as shown in the attached exhibit. In order to
facilitate this and provide adequate protection to the water line during
construction of the road, Kirnley-Hom & Associates, Inc. recommends that one
20' joint of Class 350 ductile iron water pipe be centered over the gas line per
the exhibit. The remainder of the lowered section of water line can be class
250 ductile iron or PVC. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact
