(Coppell City Limits to Carrollton City Limits)
Request for Right-of-Way Costs
Pursuant to our recent conversation regarding a re~3est from the
City of Coppell that Dallas County Staff acquire the right-of-way on
the subject project on behalf of the City, my staff has developed
the following cost estimates based on preliminary ROW documents:
I. Administrative Cost: $13,300.00
II. Riqht-OF-Wa¥ Costs:
Real Estate $31,000.00
Improvements $15,000.00
Damages $85,000.00
Sub-Total $131,000.00
TOTAL ESTIMATE OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND ROW COST $144,300.00
Please understand that these estimates were prepared using
preliminary design plans, right-of-way maps/plats and field note
descriptions and will change from actual figures once these
documents are completed.
The total estimated right-of-way costs including appraisal reports,
R.O.W. agent cost, clerical costs, land, improvements, and damages
is $144,300.00. These costs do not include additional cost which
may be incurred in the event a parcel must be acquired by Eminent
Domain. The City must agree to reimburse Dallas County for all
costs incurred as a result of acquisition through Eminent Domain.
