REQUEST FOR PERMIS~SION TO DELAY CONSTRUCTION OF
PERIMITER SIDEWALK.
Dear Mr. Marvin,
I am writing this letter to request permission from the City of Coppell for us to delay the
construction of our perimeter sidewalk until such time as our perimeter-scree~fing wall is
completed. As we discussed, I think this would be in the best interest of everyone since
the screening wall construction crews could damage the sidewalk while crossing over it
to access the area where the wall will be built along MacArthur Boulevard and Lake
Vista Drive.
In the event you are in agreement with this, here is our anticipated timing:
1. File for wall permit - Stares: This has already been filed with the City and we
have not received our permit as of today. The bricks for the wall have already
been delivered and arc currently on-site ready to use.
2. Construct wall - We would begin the construction o f the screerdng wall in the
month of November, assuming timely receipt of our permit from the City. We
would anticipate 3 to 4 weeks to complete the wall which would mean that we
would be complete by mid to the end of December.
3. Complete Sidewalk Sidewalk construction would begin ircanediately after the
wall is complete and should take no longer than I to 2 weeks to complete.
Please note that these timing estimates contemplate "normal" circumstances.
Unfortunately, we cannot control adverse conditions due to force majure, labor strikes,
etc.
